He actually gets money for every milestone home run pretty much (600,661,715,756,762,763).

When Charles Comiskey was the owner of the White Sox, he used to bench players when they were on the verge of earning bonuses so he wouldn't have to pay them.

I think and hope this time has past us...

Does it make sense that I don't like A-Rod as a person at all, but I want him playing?Lenny Neslinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03810998187300266694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5331349704853105772.post-21073053726322625752009-03-06T01:45:00.000-05:002009-03-06T01:45:00.000-05:00You've probably seen thishttp://riveraveblues.com/...You've probably seen this

http://riveraveblues.com/2009/03/a-rods-injury-on-cashman-yanks-8760/

I think it is a horrible idea to let him play. They have him for 9 years. To get one mediocre year out of him is stupid. He could get irreparable damage that could cause the yanks to basically piss all that money away.

There is something that has crossed my mind however. Part of A-Rod's deal had to do with breaking Bond's Record. What if the Yankee's management (cashman) don't want A-Rod to break the record?

Thats a frightening thought to me, although it doesn't make sense, it could be a possibility.

I'm actually feeling bad for the guy he cant catch a break at allAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5331349704853105772.post-39080854997328148942009-03-05T20:43:00.000-05:002009-03-05T20:43:00.000-05:00I'm pretty sure A-Rod wants to play. The least he can do is try and make up for it by having huge productive seasons for the Yankees. Him not playing just makes people hate him more.Lenny Neslinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03810998187300266694noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5331349704853105772.post-6350826525298136262009-03-05T19:37:00.000-05:002009-03-05T19:37:00.000-05:00I personally think this may be a result of somethi...I personally think this may be a result of something else, possibly growth hormone.

http://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/522728

Human Growth Hormone as we know in the baseball world is practically impossible to test for, at least using the practices that the MLB use.

As far as A-Rod using steroids in high school, have you ever seen pictures of him back then? He was skinny as a rail.

As far as trying to get out of playing, are you kidding me? The only thing A-Rod would want to do is reconfirm his status as the most dominant player in Major League Baseball. There is no way he is going to avoid playing, and I'm concerned that if he avoids this surgery, something worse can occur.

Also, he wont be "A-Rod" per se. He will most likely not play as well he would from may on after this surgery.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5331349704853105772.post-34208862206827173902009-03-05T18:54:00.000-05:002009-03-05T18:54:00.000-05:00This is just a couple of thoughts, butI really am ...This is just a couple of thoughts, but
I really am wondering if he is going to use this to get out of playing, I am sure the contract is insured, So he gets his money and he never has to put up with the booing,
Also I know the "Medical Experts" say this is not steroid related, but I really wonder if this is a result of taking steroids and if it is I think this shows that he has been using maybe since High School.nutballgazettehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15953156266049373818noreply@blogger.com
