It’s true. The first Jamaican to ever play in a major league game and the two-time World Series champion designated hitter with the Yankees (and once with the Twins) is now the hitting coach for the Pawsox, the Red Sox’ Triple-A affiliate. The Red Sox got Chili Davis in their system.
It’s not going to shift the balance of power in the AL East, but it’s hard to pass up a headline opportunity like that.
