If you’re a big-time baseball fan and have never been to Cooperstown, then there is a giant gap in your life. I went my senior year of high school with my baseball team, and it was heaven on earth.

Literally, all the stores on the street are baseball-related — even the bars are called “Triple Play.”

Via the National Baseball Hall of Fame:

On May 22, the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will open the special exhibitPinstripe Pictures, featuring photographs reproduced from the Associated Press book “New York Yankees 365,” a photographic history celebrating more than 100 years of pinstripe baseball in the Big Apple. The exhibit will be on display through the end of 2010.

Programs that will be offered both May 22 and 23 at the Museum include:

  • Special Yankees-related tour through the Museum offered throughout both days
  • Yankees Trivia in the Bullpen Theater, with games for all ages
  • Special Artifacts Spotlight presentations featuring artifacts from Yankees history

All programs and exhibits are included with regular Museum admission.
