Yankees-Mariners series preview in 3D

The Yankees and Mariners will battle for the second time in as many weeks this weekend. The Mariners are in last place in the West while the Yankees remain in first in the East with the best record in baseball (53-31).

And remember, if you have a 3D TV, put your goggles on Saturday night and Sunday afternoon for the debut of 3-D baseball!

Head to Head
The Mariners’ aces snatched two wins from the Yankees in last week’s series and will send out both of them again this weekend in Seattle.

Pitching Matchups:

Date: Yankees starters Athletics starters
Thurs., 10:10 p.m. A. Pettitte (10-2, 2.82) Jason Vargas (6-4, 3.22)
Fri., 10:10 p.m. Phil Hughes (10-2, 3.83) Cliff Lee (8-3, 2.34)
Sat., 10:10 p.m. J. Vazquez (7-7, 4.81) F. Hernandez (6-5, 3.01)
Sun., 4:10 p.m. CC Sabathia (11-3, 3.19) Rowland-Smith (1-8, 5.74)

Players to Watch:
Yankees: Nick Swisher
. The man is hot and is probably pumped now that he’s been selected to his first All-Star Game.

Mariners: Ichiro Suzuki. How can you not watch the guy?

Prediction:
I’ve predicted three straight series correctly now and I’m looking for my fourth. I say the Yankees take three of four, beating Cliff Lee on Friday night behind the “old” Phil Hughes. King Felix will get the best of the Yankees on Saturday, but that’ll be it for the M’s.
