Yankees-Blue Jays Series Preview: 2 at the dome

The Yankees made their first trip over the north border in 2011 for a two-game series with the Blue Jays.

The Red Sox just won their last three games against the Blue Jays, while the Yankees are coming off a series win against the Rangers.

On the Hill:
Tuesday: A.J. Burnett (3-0, 4.67) vs. Kyle Drabek (1-0, 1.93)
Wednesday: Bartolo Colon (0-1, 3.97) vs. Brett Cecil (1-1, 3.97)

Players to Watch:
Bartolo Colon: You would have laughed at me if two months ago I told you Colon would be starting a game for the Yankees in April. But now that he is, I’m actually not angry. He’s been great in long relief and the Yankees will need him to step up while Phil Hughes is shelved.

Jose Bautista: In his monster 2010 season, Bautista hit six of his 54 home runs against the Yankees. Six homers … in 61 at-bats! He’s not showing quite the same power this year, but he’s still off to a good start.

Prediction:
Tonight’s opposing pitcher will be a tough task — even for the mighty Yankee offense — so I expect a clean, series split.
