Yankees keep homering at home, beat O’s

With two more homers at Yankee Stadium in tonight’s 7-4 win over the Orioles, the Yankees lead the majors in home runs at home. Both teams share a lead for the AL East lead at 6-4. Oh wait, it’s still April.

Scoreboard Says:
Yankees 7, Orioles 4
Win: A.J. Burnett
Loss: Chris Tillman
Save: Mariano Rivera

A.J. Better Than Box Score Shows:
He wound up allowing four runs over 6-1/3 innings, but he carried a shutout into the seventh. The Yankees had the game won the whole way because of him.

A-Rod, Jorge Go Yard:
Alex Rodriguez launched a three-run shot in the first, his fourth, and Jorge Posada went deep in the fifth, his fourth.

Free Tickets?:
Yes, free tickets were granted for a Grandstand or Terrace Level seat at a game later this season. Why didn’t I go?

Game Ball:
Mariano Rivera has saved five out of the six Yankee wins this season. His perfect inning tonight sealed the deal.
