I guess it was too good to be true…
The man who gave all Yankees fans dreams of a four-headed All-Star rotation, Joel Sherman, reported the Rangers, not the Yankees, reached an agreement to land Cliff Lee.
Oh well. At least the Yankees still have the army to win a World Series. It’s just less certain, now. That’s all.
UPDATE: I forgot to mention the Yankees were supposed to face Lee tonight. Now they’ll face David Pauley. Remember him?
